Terms and Conditions — Workforce SMS
These terms govern EZ Voice Workforce SMS, business texting with a company’s AI workforce assistant for employees and independent contractors.
1. Workforce SMS (employees and independent contractors)
- The company emails an employee or independent contractor a unique secure web portal invite link, or sends that link through another non-SMS work channel. The Workforce SMS number is not used to deliver the invite.
- The portal presents required disclosures: message types, frequency, Msg&Data rates, that messaging is not required for employment or as a condition of contractor work, STOP/HELP/START instructions, and links to Terms and Privacy.
- The invitee voluntarily agrees to receive one opt-in SMS and enters or confirms their own mobile number on the portal.
- Submitting the portal form is not enrollment. EZ Voice then sends one invitation/opt-in SMS only.
- They must reply YES, START, or Y to opt in, or STOP to decline. Only after YES may they exchange business texts with the company’s AI workforce assistant.
- Business messages may go both ways. Examples include schedule and job updates from the assistant, and work messages from the person such as calling out sick so appointments can be rescheduled, or requesting time off such as vacation or personal days so appointments are not scheduled. Messages are limited to business communications about work. Not for marketing.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Reply START to opt back in after STOP.
- This is a separate program from customer appointment SMS and customer Text Chat. It uses a different phone number.
