Workforce SMS
EZ Voice Workforce SMS lets companies invite employees and independent contractors to exchange business messages with the company’s AI workforce assistant by text. After opt-in, messages may include schedule updates, job details, end-of-day status, and work replies such as calling out sick so appointments can be rescheduled, or requesting time off such as vacation or personal days so appointments are not scheduled. The company emails a unique portal invite link, or sends it through another non-SMS work channel. The Workforce SMS number is not used to deliver that invite. The portal presents required disclosures before the person provides a mobile number. Submitting the form only requests one opt-in SMS and does not enroll anyone. They must reply YES before any business texts. This program is not for customers or consumers and is not for marketing. Messaging is not required for employment or as a condition of contractor work.
How opt-in works
- The company emails a unique secure web portal invite link, or sends it through another non-SMS work channel. The invite is not sent from the Workforce SMS number.
- The invitee voluntarily opens that link. It takes them to the portal, where they review the disclosures before entering a mobile number: what messages may be sent, frequency, Msg&Data rates, that messaging is not required for employment or contractor work, STOP/HELP/START, and Terms and Privacy.
- Still on the portal, they agree to receive one opt-in SMS, confirm their number, and submit the form. That submission does not enroll them. A record of the portal acceptance is kept.
- After the form is submitted, EZ Voice sends the opt-in SMS (below). They reply YES, START, or Y to that text to opt in, or STOP to decline.
- After that YES reply, they may exchange business texts with the company’s AI workforce assistant on that workforce number.
Reviewers may view the complete public opt-in portal preview. The preview shows the same disclosures, Terms, Privacy Policy, phone field, and consent language that an invited worker sees before requesting the one opt-in SMS.
